My experience of the media is that it so often twists and distorts the truth to sell copy.
The sad thing is, we as a human race have sought out sensationalism to avoid looking at how we live our lives. We buy the newspaper to look at how awful other people live their lives so we don’t have to feel so bad about our own. So if we invest in sensationalism day in day out, we are demanding to be fed more and more of the same junk food journalism. Journalists then have to go out and make the ‘food’ we like to consume.
Can we be honest and admit to just how much we want to bury our own lives in the lies and deceit that the media has become?
